Investing In The Next Generation
The SLB Founders Scholarship offers financial assistance to help dependent children achieve their educational goals.

SLB Founders Scholarship Program
The SLB Founders Scholarship Program is a benefit designed to encourage academic achievement and higher education among the dependent children of US- and Canada-based employees. Named in honour of the founders of our company in North America, the new program builds on many popular features of the legacy SLB and SII scholarship programs to provide generous, tax-effective awards for students seeking to pursue a 2- or 4-year undergraduate course of study after high school.
Here are a few highlights of the program:
- Two types of scholarships are granted to first-time recipients each year: 8 Merit Scholarships and 32 Honors Awards.
- Merit Scholarships are for $5,000 each; Honors Awards are for $3,500 or $2,000 each, depending on whether the student plans to enroll in a 4-year or a 2-year course of study.
- Awards are granted for one year but are generally renewable with satisfactory academic progress.
- The application period typically runs from December 1 through March 1 each year.
